Cookie Policy.

Effective date: 1 July 2026  ·  Last updated: 1 July 2026  ·  Version 3.1

This Cookie Policy explains how cookies and similar technologies are used by BlueBlue Ltd, trading as Dripply, in connection with our website (dripply.co.uk) and mobile application.

1. The Dripply mobile app

The Dripply mobile app does not use cookies. Mobile apps use other forms of local storage (such as device-secure storage and Firebase SDK caches) which are necessary for the app to function - for example to keep you logged in, store recent places, and cache photos for offline viewing.

These local storage mechanisms are described in our Privacy Policy. They are not used to track you across other apps or websites.

2. Our website (dripply.co.uk)

Our marketing website is hosted on Netlify. The site is intentionally minimal: it explains what Dripply is and links to the App Store and Google Play. It also hosts the static files (Apple App Site Association and Android assetlinks.json) needed for deep links to open shared moments in the app.

The cookies and technologies set when you visit our website are limited to:

2.1 Strictly necessary

Used to deliver the website and keep it secure. These cannot be turned off without breaking the site.

2.2 Optional website forms

Our website includes optional sign-up forms - for example for city votes, Dripply Launch updates, app update notifications, and account deletion or contact-related submissions. These forms are managed by EmailOctopus (Three Hearts Digital Ltd), our email marketing processor.

Submitting a form is always optional. By submitting, you consent to your email being stored by EmailOctopus and used only for the purpose stated on that form. You can unsubscribe from any marketing or update emails at any time.

2.3 Deep link redirect files

When you click a shared Dripply moment link, your browser briefly accesses static files on dripply.co.uk that tell iOS or Android to open the Dripply app instead. These files don't set cookies and are not used to track you - they're just instructions for the operating system.

We do not use Google Analytics, Plausible, Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel, Hotjar, or any other third-party analytics or advertising trackers on our website.

3. Your choices

You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings at any time. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop our website from working properly. Submission of any website form is always opt-in.

4. Changes

If we ever start using additional cookies (e.g. for privacy-friendly analytics), we'll update this policy and seek your consent in line with UK PECR and GDPR requirements before any non-essential cookies are set.
